Long and flexible products such as tubes, profiles and pipe bundles are awkward to rotate as they are wrapped. A horizontal machine keeps the load straight on a roller line and moves the film around the load instead of turning the load.

For a long bundle, an orbital ring that travels along the load applies film evenly without bending or spinning the product. Bundle length and diameter are confirmed per project.

The yellow orbital ring carries the film roll on one side and rotates around the load as it travels. Ring opening and conveyor width are confirmed per project.

Wrap cycle and operator guidance

The operator places the bundle on the conveyor, starts the cycle, and the ring rotates around the load while the bundle moves forward. In the footage the operator guides the film and adjusts the guide rollers inside the machine during the run.

The ring continues along the full bundle until the cover is complete, then the machine returns to standby. Cycle speed and overlap are confirmed per project.

Place the bundle on the conveyor, start the cycle, and keep clear of the moving ring while the machine runs. The operator guides the film and adjusts the guide rollers before and during the run, per the machine manual.

Routine checks cover the conveyor rollers, the ring drive and the film roll, and the operator confirms the bundle is seated on the line before each pass.
