Why large rings need a machine wrap
A large ring-shaped part is heavy, smooth and awkward to hold, and wrapping it by hand with film usually produces loose, uneven layers that shift in transit. The ring needs protection that stays in place from the machine to the customer. Hand wrapping also exposes the crew to a heavy rotating load.
A machine holds the ring on a rotating platform and applies the material while the ring turns, so every ring gets the same even layer. The wrap stays tight and the crew stays clear. Ring range and wrap standard are confirmed per project.

The machine is a large size bearing packaging machine built around a central rotary platform. The ring is fixed on the platform, the platform turns it, and banding material feeds from a side roll, wound continuously around the outer surface. Rollers and guides keep the material flat as the layer builds.
The wrapping mechanism follows the outer circumference, and the rotation speed and material feed stay matched so the wrap lays down evenly. The cycle runs from a side control panel. Wrap setup is confirmed per project.

The footage shows one ring wrapped through full coverage. The machine starts with the ring fixed on the platform, the platform rotates, and banding material feeds from the side and winds around the surface. Coverage builds until the outer face is fully wrapped, with operators supervising from behind and at the panel.
The centered wrap follows the ring’s outer face without bunching or gaps. When coverage is complete, the wrapping stops and the ring is ready to be handled. Cycle parameters are confirmed per project.
Even coverage under control
The point of the machine is even coverage. As the ring turns, the material feeds at a matched rate and rollers keep it flat against the surface, so the layer builds consistently rather than in patches. The same even wrap applies to every ring in the batch.

Működés és biztonság
Place the ring on the platform, then run the cycle from the panel and the machine wraps it automatically. Keep clear of the rotating ring, material feed and rollers while the machine runs, with guarding and emergency stops at the operator position. The rotating ring stays on the machine through the cycle.
Routine checks cover the platform drive, material unit, rollers, sensors and control, per the machine manual. Confirm the wrap settings against the ring before each run so coverage stays even.
