Why a spiral hold wrap
A bundle of pipes or tubes is loose until it is held together. A spiral stretch wrap keeps the bundle in shape and the surface covered, without a heavy structure around the line.
An orbital wrapper is an economic way to wrap long bundles because one ring serves products up to the ring size. Bundle range is confirmed per project.

The machine is an economic horizontal orbital stretch wrapper for pipe and tube. A bundle moves along a conveyor into the wrapping zone, where an orbital ring rotates around the product. A film carriage on the ring applies stretch film in a spiral as the bundle passes through.

The ring is a large orbital structure with the film on a carriage that travels around the product. The operator fits a film roll onto the carriage, and the carriage lays the film as the ring turns.
Keeping the film on the moving carriage lets the wrap follow the full circumference of the bundle. Film width and tension are confirmed per project.
Through the ring and out
The bundle is fed through the ring while it turns, so the film applies along the length in a spiral. Once the bundle has passed through, it comes out wrapped and moves on the outfeed conveyor.
Feeding the bundle through a turning ring wraps the whole length in one pass. Feed speed and overlap are confirmed per project.

Start the line and the bundle feeds into the turning ring and wraps under power. Keep clear of the ring, the film carriage and the conveyor while the machine runs, with guarding around the orbital zone.
Routine checks cover the conveyor, the ring drive, the carriage and the film tension, per the machine manual. Confirm the film setup against the bundle before each run.
