Vezetői összefoglaló
Long aluminum profiles arrive at a packing station loose, exposed and ready to be scratched before they reach the customer. A profile bagging machine draws the bundle into a protective sleeve or bag, closes and seals the ends, and holds the finished package with strapping. We build profile bagging lines for fabricators and extruders. Profile range and bag plan are confirmed per project.

Why long profiles are hard to protect
Aluminum profiles are long, finished and vulnerable on three fronts: the surface scratches and bends, dust and moisture reach the metal, and loose bundles shift in handling. Manual wrapping is slow, uses inconsistent film and leaves some bundles under-protected.
The length is the difficulty, because a long profile cannot be spun on a turntable and covers a lot of surface. A dedicated profile bagging machine packages the full length in one flow, which is what protects long products without extra hands.
How bagging protects the bundle
The machine draws the profile bundle into a protective sleeve or bag, so the finished package completely encloses the profiles before they move on. Bagging covers the length and the profiles inside as a unit, keeping the bundle together and the surface out of the air.
Because the bag wraps the whole bundle rather than each profile, the package is quick to produce and consistent from bundle to bundle. The bag length and opening follow the profile bundle, confirmed per project.
Sleeving and bag feed
The bag or sleeve is fed onto the bundle automatically, drawn over the profiles from one end or applied as the bundle advances. Feeding is sized so the sleeve covers the full profile length without shortfalls, and the material follows the protection level needed, from light covering to heavier barrier film. Consistent feeding is what stops partly covered bundles that leave the ends exposed. Sleeve width and length are set per bundle, confirmed per project.
End closing and sealing
Once the sleeve is over the bundle, the open ends are closed and sealed so the package is enclosed rather than open at both ends. End sealing keeps dust and moisture out and is what finishes the bag into a complete package. The seal is made to hold through handling and shipment, confirmed on the bag material per project. Enclosed ends are also what let the bundle be moved and stacked without contents sliding out.
Strapping the package
After the bag is closed, the finished package is strapped so the profiles stay compact and the bag stays in place. Strapping draws the bundle together and keeps the sleeve from billowing or slipping, and the strap positions run along the length where the package needs them. Strapping is controlled so the profiles are held without crushing the finish, and the tension and strap count follow the bundle weight and length, confirmed per project.
Orbital wrapping as an alternative
For plants that package bare bundles rather than bagged ones, orbital wrapping is the alternative used for long products. An orbital wrapper passes the bundle through a rotating film ring, covering the length with stretch film. The choice between bagging and orbital wrapping follows the protection level, the film or bag cost, and the speed needed, confirmed per project. Both handle long profiles; the difference is the package form.
|---|---|
| profil | szakasz, hossz |
| Csomag | profilok csomagonként |
| Ujj | width, material |
| Végtömítés | automatikus záródás |
| Szíj | tension, positions |
| Áramellátás | 380 V háromfázisú 50 Hz, vagy 220 V egyfázisú könnyű gépekhez, projektenként kiválasztva |
Amit a videó mutat
Our footage shows a profile bagging line sleeving and closing an aluminum profile bundle. It is a general demonstration, so your profile range and bag plan are confirmed with us per project.
Kiválasztási ellenőrzőlista
| Kérdés | Projektenkénti megerősítés |
|---|---|
| Profiltartomány | szakasz és hossz |
| Csomag | profilok csomagonként |
| Ujj | width and material |
| Végtömítés | lezárási módszer |
| Szíj | feszültség és számolás |
| Áramellátás | feszültség, fázis és frekvencia a helyszínen |
Működés és biztonság
Run the recipe from the panel and the line feeds the sleeve over the bundle, seals the ends and straps the package automatically. Keep clear of the sleeve feed, seal head and strapping unit while it runs, with guarding and emergency stops at the operator position. Routine checks cover the sleeve feed, seal mechanism, strapping head and sensors, per the machine manual. Check sleeve and strap supplies before each shift so bagging never stops mid-run.
Mérnöki GYIK
Q: What does a profile bagging machine do? A: It draws the profile bundle into a sleeve or bag, closes and seals the ends, then straps the finished package.
Q: Why bag rather than wrap? A: Bagging fully encloses the bundle as a unit, keeping the surface out of the air and dust.
Q: How are the ends closed? A: After sleeving, the open ends are closed and sealed into a complete enclosed package.
Q: What holds the bundle together? A: Strapping draws the bundle compact and keeps the sleeve in place along the length.
Q: Is orbital wrapping an option? A: Yes, orbital wrapping is the alternative for bare bundles, chosen per project on protection and cost.
