Why tyres need a controlled wrap

Overlap is consistent across the cycle, so coverage does not develop thin spots part-way through a run. The pattern is stored per tyre size and recalled on changeover, so a plant that runs several tyre lines switches by recipe rather than by re-timing the machine.

Powered pre-stretch draws the film out before it reaches the tyre, so containment comes from tension in the film rather than film thickness. The result is a tight, compact package that uses less film per tyre while holding the stack firmly through handling. Space and consistency

Two results of the machine matter commercially: space and consistency. Tightly wrapped tyres and stacks are more compact, so more stock fits in the warehouse bay and in the container. Wrapping every unit to the same standard also removes the variability that manual wrapping introduces on a busy day. For dealers and distributors, the combination means predictable freight volume and a uniform presentation at the receiving end, confirmed per project.
